The Cabin Room
This lovely suite is a luxurious retreat on our garden level. A stand-alone structure, it is our most private and quiet accommodation. Recessed into the deck is a private two-person soaker tub heated by a wood stove, and it gives a lovely scent of warm cedar to those who enjoy it. The room also offers a shower with limitless hot water and a small kitchenette with a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and wet bar.

A Stickley king size panel bed fitted with quality linens and a queen size prairie settle sofa bed, make this room ideal for those needing extra accommodations or a private space for themselves.
A free-standing enamel gas stove with antique wool rugs over the original fir floors accent the room’s large private sitting area. Gilt framed limited edition artwork by Alaskan artists adorn the walls in the master bedroom room as well as all the rooms throughout the Inn. The tiled bath with its handset old fashioned hex floor tile, highlight the pedestal sink and double whirlpool tub and shower for two. There isn’t another room like this anywhere in town.
The bedroom area boasts a splendid example of old-world craftsmanship, reflected in the custom-made oak king size slat bed. There is a Stickley Brothers lunch table and chairs for resting your laptop while checking your email. Enjoy outstanding views of Mount Juneau and the surrounding mountainsides, Gastineau Channel waterfront, and the downtown historic neighborhoods through your gable windows. A period pedestal sink with matching commode and bidet compliment the wainscoted walls for that old-time look and feel to a rather unique space. John's Room
A romantic hide-a-way, furnished with early Craftsman style fumed white oak furniture that has been a quarter sawn to bring out the intricate and beautiful grain patterns of the wood. A gorgeous custom made four-poster king-size bed with its arched stretchers and pyramid topped posts again resembles the early work of Gustav Stickley and Harvey Ellis.
Antique wool rugs accent the Brazilian cherry wood border that surrounds the original maple floor. William Morris design wallpapers in the marigold pattern with an iridescent gold acanthus leaf border compliment all of the room’s oak furnishings as well as the green enamel open door gas fireplace.
This large second-floor corner room has the advantage of windows that look out over the adjacent garden park and the downtown area and harbor. The large tile floored bath with its wainscoted walls, console legged sink and double end claw foot soaking tub and shower, tastefully combine contemporary luxury with turn of the century elegance. Klonda's Room
A very private and out of the way guest room with its own outside entry at the garden level. This large bedroom is dominated by a Harvey Ellis influenced Stickley king size oak bed with intricate inlay. The matching rocker and chair support this same inlay design by Ellis and compliment the imported Liberty English wallpapers in the Jasmin pattern first produced over 100 years ago.
The cherry floor, scattered with oriental rugs has in-floor radiant heat, with an individual room heating control for that exact comfort level. More Alaskan art by Fred Machetanz adorn the walls. This room has the largest bath within the house, which leaves plenty of room for the Art Nouveau style matching commode and pedestal sink. The claw foot tub and shower are the largest one in the house with plenty of room for a good old-fashioned soak in the tub.
There is an oak armoire and dresser to compliment the décor. Morning sun streams in the window and there are some peaks at the mountains. Access to the garden and the berry patch are right out your door!

Harry's Room
A beautiful queen-sized fumed oak Stickley queen spindle bed with support corbels dominates this beautiful second-floor room. Original maple floors are protected by a wool Karastan rug with a deep blue early William Morris design.
The wallpapers are also of the Morris Company, in the Acorn pattern first printed and designed by J.H. Dearle in 1879. The reddish hue of the paper is almost identical to the imported French glass shades on the room’s period light fixtures. A bedside antique slag glass lamp rests upon a mission lamp table, while an antique armchair provides ample comfort for viewing morning sunrises over Mt. Roberts and the downtown area.
Several Alaskan artists are represented in the framed art. A blue streaked shale patterned bathroom floor compliments the wainscoting surrounding the pedestal sink and claw foot tub, the china antique wall hung commode is the original to the house.

Viola's Room
Nine-foot ceilings, stain glass windows, and an original electrified oil parlor ceiling lamp are set off beautifully by the green Oak Tree wallpaper and border first designed and printed in 1896 by J.H. Dearle. The Brazilian cherry hardwood floor is complimented with beautiful antique wool rugs in an old English pattern.
The queen size Stickley solid oak spindle bed, covered with a delicate hand-sewn quilt is a gentle reminder of a more leisurely time gone by long ago. An oak side chair lets you while away the hours, or enjoy the early morning sunshine as it peeks around the mountain. An antique Paine Furniture Company table and an electrified gone-with-the-wind lamp sit beside the bed to match the room’s other furnishings.
A gentleman’s chest provides plenty of storage. Your eggshell white wainscoted bath with a small maid’s tub with shower and pedestal sink is the perfect fit. This room is located on the first floor and would be perfect for those early risers or folks not wanting to use the staircase.

Fo’c’s’le Room
The Forecastle is the forward part of a ship where sailors eat and sleep. So, we have taken that nautical theme and have a quiet out of the way nook with its own outside entrance at the garden level.
This bedroom is furnished with fumed golden oak twin beds crafted by the Stickley Furniture Company, which still crafts high-end mission style solid wood furniture today. Roll-top desk and chair in the room for those who still need to work or a laptop. In-floor radiant heat and individual room controls, you can always set the perfect sleeping comfort level. Five panel, fir pocket doors separate the bath with its cherry floor, old-style pedestal sink, and walk-in shower, there is no tub in this room.
Classic Alaskan art adorns the walls. Antique period brass wall sconces provide the extra touch to a warm and inviting room. This is our smallest room in the house.
